Based on the resident’s medical insurance, most doctors come into the facility. These include:
- Primary Physician
- Podiatrist
- Dermatologist
- Eye Doctor
- Psychologist
- Psychiatrist
- Chiropractor
- Dentist
Check ups for hearing aides are done on the premises
Check ups for eye glasses are done on the premises
Other provisions on the premises include:
- Blood tests
- Lab work
- X-rays
- EKGs
- Urinalysis
- Ultrasounds
On-call nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists etc. come into the facility to render services. These services are based on authorization from the resident’s medical insurance companies.
Staff is trained in medication management. They provide supervision with medications. Administration of insulin shots, flu shot, etc. is done by nurses from Home Health Agencies.
We are able to cater to Therapeutic diets like Soft Diets and Pureed Diets for seniors with swallowing difficulties, Renal diets for Dialysis Patients, No Added Salt for residents with blood pressure and heart problems, No Concentrated Sweet Diets for Diabetics etc.
Three delicious meals are prepared fresh everyday and are served to meet the residents’ daily nutrition needs. Fresh fruits, refreshments & snacks, and an assortment of fruit juices & beverages is available at all times. Our menus are prepared by a Registered Dietician and there is a different menu for each week of the month for variety.
Staff is trained to handle delicate issues like incontinence.
Custom tailored Care Plans are followed for residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Cable and Telephone use is available for local calls, at no charge. Residents have the choice to install their own phone line if they intent to use the telephone more frequently. This service can be installed at their own billable terms with the local phone company of their choice.
Professionals and experienced staff offer 24 hour assistance with activities of daily living. These include assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, personal hygiene etc.
Daily housekeeping, daily linen changes for incontinent residents and weekly linens for continent residents are available. Personal laundry is also done for all the residents.
Salon services are available for haircuts, hair color, permanents, blow dry & style, manicures, pedicures etc. at additional charges.
Transportation arrangements are made for doctor appointments and other purposes at an additional charge.
Social Activities like musician performances, arts and crafts, Bingo, Scrabble etc. are just a few of the activities that keep our residents occupied and stimulated.
Hospice care is available on the premises for residents who are terminal. We operate on the concept of “Age in Place” where most of our residents are made comfortable in a dignified environment, till the very end.
